Garden Club Hosts First Annual Houseplant Giveaway

Homewood at Frederick's new Garden Club just held their first annual houseplant giveaway!

The leader of the Garden Club, propagated these houseplants during the previous three months. The houseplant giveaway was to share these plants with interested residents and to announce and increase the awareness of the Garden Club.

51 houseplants were given away at the event, in six inch pots with saucers. Several types were among them, coleus, pathos, mountain plant, jade and others.

The Garden Club's primary objective is to identify, encourage, support, and engage residents interested in gardening to communicate among one another to optimize the opportunity to enhance the exterior and interior beauty of their places of residence with plants and flowers.
